2023: Alex Otti, Peter Obi Stands Tall Above Other Candidates, Rally Round Them - Engr. Steve Ochonma

Renowned technocrat and entrepreneur, Engr. Steve Ochonma PhD, has singled out Dr. Alex Otti and Mr. Peter Obi, the governorship (Abia state) and presidential candidates of the Labour Party as the best of all party flag-bearers ahead of the 2023 general election.

Ochonma in a press release made available to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER (AFNEWS) on July 1, 2022, said among all parties guber candidates in Abia state, Dr Otti stands tall while at the national level, Peter Obi has the most intimidating record.

"I believe strongly that of the lots that have indicated interest to vie for the office of the governor of Abia in 2023, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti stands tall above all. Also, at the national level, there is no doubt that Mr. Peter Gregory Obi has the most intimidating record and it is no coincidence that these two have been brought together by fate under the canopy of labour partyÔÇØ he said.

Ochonma stated that the current rate of poverty, insecurity, corruption, ethnic and religious divisions have never been recorded in the history of Abia state and Nigeria as a whole.

"Nigeria is on a threshold of jumping over these huddles or tripping and tumbling over thoseÔÇØ he added.

He admonished that the time to condone looting and other illegal vices have gone as it is time to get things right.

The technocrat charged Abians and all Nigerians to rally round Obi and Otti to "not only reset our state and country but also put us on the path of sustainable development and prosperity.

In his word; "there is a need to get it right this time; it should not be business as usual we do not have that luxury anymore. We cannot continue on the inglorious path of consumption alone, we must reset the buttons to production and wealth creation.

"if we must get it right this time, and put our state, Abia and our country, Nigeria on a solid footing for prosperity, sustainable development and greatness, we must begin to elect into positions of authority at all levels. We must identify and support men and women of integrity, good character, competence, capacity, commitment, courage and above all, God fearingÔÇØ Ochonma charged.
