NOISE POLLUTION: APPEAL COURT JUDGE SLAPS RCCG PASTOR, MEMBER

There was mild drama, on Wednesday, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Glory Tabernacle Parish, Ijapo-Estate Akure, Ondo State, as an Appeal Court Judge assaulted a pastor and a member over noise pollution.

Justice Omoleye Folayemi had stormed the church during the mid-week 'Divine Encounter Service' that normally holds between 10:00am to 12:00pm, and started making a video while complaining about the effects of the pollution.

However, a 68-year-old member approached her and kicked the phone away from her hand, prompting Folayemi to pounce on her. According to reports, the judge also slapped a pastor who tried to intervene.

It was gathered that judge's house is located close to the church and she had complained several times over the noise that emanates from the church during programs, but got no positive feedback from RCCG.

As at the moment, we gathered that Police has in the Judge in Custody.
