2023 GUBER: It's Time For Ikpeazu To Hand The Baton To Abia North- Eme Okoro Insists |WATCH VIDEO

Former Secretary to the Abia State government, Dr. Eme Okoro, have insisted that power should fall back to Abia North District come 2023.

Eme Okoro while speaking in Ohafia during a consultation visit of Abia guber aspirant, Rt. Hon. Sir Ude Oko Chukwu on Tuesday, stated that power has gone round North, South and Central, and now its time to rotate back to Abia North.

He recalled that governor Okezie Ikpeazu, PhD, met the people of Abia North, asking for a second term, saying that "when I finish a second term, Abia North will get it".

According to the statesman, 2023 is the time for Ikpeazu to hand over the baton of leadership to Abia North as was agreed.

Eme Okoro dared the governor to refute making such promise and he will produce evidences.

"This power must come to Abia North; what is right must be sustained" he said.

He charged the monarchs and other delegates to do the right thing to ensure that justice is done.
