2023: Nigeria Needs A Mad Man To Govern It - Nyesom Wike Solicits For Votes
Rivers state governor and a 2023 presidential aspirant under the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Nyesom Wike, has opined that Nigeria needs a mad man to govern it and bring the country back to its track of greatness.

Wike stated this on Wednesday while consulting delegates of the PDP in Kogi state.

According to the aspirant, he has so much energy built up in him which he intends to use for Nigeria.

He expressed confidence that he can unify the country being a fearless, courageous man who speaks the truth to power.

Wike solicited for the delegates to throw their support behind him during the party primaries, promising not to disappoint if given mandate

"The energy in me is too much. I want to use the energy to work for the country".

"I have made myself available for my party, and to be voted to become the next president of Federal Republic of Nigeria. Never in the history of this country have we so divided. I can bring back the country back on its track of greatness. It doesn't matter where you are from. It takes a mad man to govern Nigeria".

"As for me, if you don't vote for me in our party primary, I will still remain a member of the PDP. I have benefited from this party, and so I have no excuse to give, for defecting to another party" Wike said.

In their separate responses, former governors of the state , Ibrahim Idris and Captain Idris Wada, including the state party executive members extolled the virtues of governor Wike, assuring him of their support in the primary,
