2023: PDP Urban Ward 1 Umuahia North LGA Visits Abia Speaker, Pledges Support

Speaking at a meeting held at his campaign office, the Speaker, thanked them for their support and commitment over the years.

He harped on the need for them to shun politics of bitterness and not allow themselves to be influenced by people not interested in issue-based campaigns because they are intimidated by the numerous projects he has brought to the constituency and beyond especially when they have no scorecard with which to campaign, saying such people are only after their own personal gains.

According to Right Honourable Engineer Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, his ambition to represent the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia at the Federal House of Representatives should be supported by all because he has all the needed experience and expertise to attract more visible projects to the people.

In their separate remarks, the Peoples Democratic Party Chairman of Umuahia North Local Government Area, Honourable Miller Donatus Ohaeri and the Councillor representing Urban Ward 5, Honourable Andrew Enyinnaya Uwaga, described the Speaker as a politician whose reputation towers high and above others and who has redefined the political sphere of the State.

They pledged to work assiduously for his victory at the forthcoming polls because his works are evidently clear for all to see.

A former Transition Chairman of Umuahia North Local Government Area, Honourable Frank Ibe, described their visit as worthwhile and reiterated that the Peoples Democratic Party members in Urban Ward 1 have resolved to support and work together in championing the cause of the Speaker because his track records and effective representation over the years are not only overwhelming but also make it easier to campaign for him.
