Professor Gregory Ibe an aspirant in the 2023 Abia Gubernatorial race, has assured Abians that he has solutions to the problems facing the state.
Ibe who is running under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), described himself as a reformer, noting that all he has done in the private and public sector would be duplicated in Abia if given the people's mandate.

Gregory Ibe who is the owner of Gregory University, Uturu, in an exclusive interview with ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER stated that 2023 is the time for him to bring in his wealth of experience to governance to transform the state.

The hopeful blamed the current situation of the state on leadership deficit, describing the notion that states like Ebonyi is better than Abia in terms of generating internal revenue, as a lie.

According to the educationist, Abia being an oil producing state, coupled with her numerous talents especially in Aba the commercial city, more opportunities can be created and income generated without relying on allocations.

Ibe a consultant with the United Nations and World Bank, promised that Abians will see a positive change per month if elected into office as he would utilize his years of experiences and ensure that all sectors are developed.

"All sectorial must receive good governance".
" I have total allegiance for my people.

"What I am bringing is solution to Abia problems.
"I am not coming to Government to enrich myself but to ensure that Abians rejoice".

"It would be a covenant between me and Abians that in every one month, they should be able to take record of what I have done for them; am not going to run away; am the highest investor in Abia state.

Speaking on his defection from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Ibe described his former party as one full of lies.
"The PDP seem not to be seeing what is good in the life of anybody."
He noted that in 2014, he was requested to step down until 2023 which he agreed to but the dice changed as the party instead of zoning to Abia North, chose a strange zoning formula.

"We had an agreement and when it was time, they derailed from it in order to make sure that they frustrate a good thing coming to Abia".

Ibe, a pioneer of Igbo presidency, maintained that he would never return to PDP as he feels at home with APGA.
