As the 2023 gubernatorial election in Abia State draws near, the governorship candidate of Young Progressive Party (YPP) in Abia State Engr Eniyinnaya Chima Nwafor has assured Enugu State indigenes who own shops in Ariaria and Ahiaohuru that they will get their shops back.
Engr Nwafor stated this during the end of the year event of Enugu State indigenes in Abia State.

He made it clear that YPP government will make sure that bona-fide shop owners at Ariaria and Ahia Ohuru who lost their shops to remodeling will get their shops back. This is in addition to providing enabling environment, so that everyone living in Abia irrespective of nativity will always feel at home, loved and respected.
