The Organizing Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State, Barrister Moses Ogbonna has resigned his position.
In a letter signed by him and forwarded to the Chiarman of the party in the state, Sir Johnson Onuigbo, Barrister Ogbonna cited several claims, ranging from of lack of coordination and internal democracy, to high jack of the party by people working for their own interest, to non-payment of allowances due to the party officials.
In a shocking decision, the party which has been brimming with confidence ahead of the forthcoming polls, is yet to respond to this resignation, and it remains a difficult to make as regards the effect of this on the party's chances.
