The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has published the final Information Memorandum (IM), for the auction of 3.5GHZ spectrum band.

The NCC has also compiled responses to the stakeholders' comments on the Memorandum and therefore calls on stake holders to visit the official site of the Commission www.ncc.gov.ng. To read responses.

A release signed by the Director, Public Affairs, NCC Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde, noted that "all applications to participate at the Auction must reach the Commission on or before Wednesday, November 24, 2021.

Recall that the 3.5GHz 5G Spectrum will be auctioned at a reserve price of $197.4m on Monday, December 13, 2021. The NCC will however perform a mock auction on Friday, December 10.

Publication of the final Information Memorandum (IM) for the auction of 3.5GHz spectrum band and compiled comments on the IM by the Nigerian Communications Commission.

The Nigerian Communications Commission in exercise of its functions under the Nigerian Communications Act 2003 (the Act) has published the Final Information Memorandum (IM) for the upcoming auction of the 3.5GHz spectrum band, and compiled responses to stakeholders' comments on the IM as part of the 5G Technology Deployment Plan on November 10, 2021.

Stakeholders are by this notice invited to peruse these two documents indicating the Start Date of receipt of applications for the Auction. The documents are to be found on the Commission's website at www.ncc.gov.ng. The attention of Stakeholders is drawn, particularly to Sections 1 (e), VII {(i) (ii), (v) (3) (c)} and XI (e) of the IM.
All applications to participate at the Auction must reach the Commission on or before Wednesday, November 24, 2021 and should be addressed to:
