Aba North And South Bye Election: Prof. Ibe Storms Enyimba City

One of the groups that is currently embarking on grassroots house to house campaign round the wards that make up the constituency is Prof Gregory Ibe Foundation. According to the chairman of the group Prince Emeka Okafor, the organisation was mandated by her founder, Prof Gregory Ibe to transverse the entire Aba North and South Federal Constituency in order to mobilise support for the PDP candidate, Hon Chimaobi Ebisike in the election.

In his words," In spite of his recent bereavement, our founder Prof Gregory Ibe has empowered us to aggressively canvass support for Hon Chimaobi Ebisike in order to ensure landslide victory for our PDP in the bye election.

Subsequently, we have mobilised the large membership of our structure in Aba to embark on door to door, street to street and ward to ward sensitization campaigns in order to associate the Prof Gregory Ibe brand with the aspirations of Hon Ebisike".

Continuing, Prince Okafor stated that the campaign exercise will climax on Wednesday 24 March when the group will join forces with members of Abia State Amalgamated Traders Association ( ASMATA), under the leadership of Chief Lucky Akubueze, to "engage in a unique mother of all awareness rally that will involve the distribution of palliatives donated by Prof Gregory Ibe to Aba residents".

He therefore concluded by enjoining residents of Aba to reciprocate the massive road construction policy of the PDP government in Abia State under the steady helmsmanship of Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, by robustly voting the umbrella sign in the forthcoming bye election, promising that Hon Ebisike will deliver the goods in the green chamber.
