Aba North/South : Destiny Nwagwu Declares, Says "I will follow in the foot steps of Prestige Ossy"

There was wild jubilation on Tuesday, 2nd March 2021 in Aba as Honorable Destiny Nwagwu declared to run for the Aba North and South federal house of representative seat under the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) which was formerly occupied by Late Honorable Prestige Chinedu Ossy.

AF NEWS recently made publications on the death of Honorable Prestige Chinedu Ossy who many described as a good man with a good heart whose life and times were dedicated to the service of his people not minding where one is coming from. The effects of his death has not been recovered from till date and many say it is impossible
to believe that Late Honorable Prestige Chinedu Ossy is dead.

In the party declaration, the Chairman, Ward 7 in Aba North APGA, Hon. Oliver Udensi described Hon.
Destiny as a party loyalist who is among those that have sacrificed a lot to see that APGA stands in Aba
North and South.

The Chairman Aba North L.G.A., Hon. Frank Udeaha bemoaned the death of Late Honorable Prestige Chinedu Ossy who he described as "our leader". He expressed great confidence in the person of Hon. Destiny Nwagwu for the Federal House of Representatives. He further stated that Hon. Destiny has stood the test of time in APGA despite the huddles he may have experienced.

Hon. Ikechukwu Nwankwo who was formerly the Director of Protocols to Late Honorable Prestige Chinedu Ossy while presenting Hon.Destiny Nwangwa said, "we are going to take what still belongs to us". He expressly criticized the plots of some enemies of Ossy and APGA as well who according to him went to Abuja to fix the election
to replace Ossy who has not even been buried. This plot he stated is against the constitution
which allows for a space of three (3) months before a fresh election is conducted. He said these enemies
are scrupulously making this plan to oust APGA of their duly deserved position but it will not work.

Hon. Destiny Nwagwu while accepting the nomination of his people promised to make them proud and to follow
in the legacies of Late Honorable Prestige Chinedu Ossy for the good of Aba people. It became a moment of mixed feelings as amidst tears he alleged Ossy was poisoned although it has not been ascertained, he said. He
thanked Aba people for giving him the ticket and promised to give them a listening ear like Ossy.

In attendance were various chieftains of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in both Aba North and
South including ward representatives and executives.
