ABIA 2023: Chima Nwafor Reveals His Developmental Agenda In A Town Hall Meeting With Ohuhu Clan
Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the gubernatorial candidate of the Young Progressives Party, YPP in Abia state, Engineer Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor (Nana) yesterday held a Town Hall Meeting with the Ohuhu people of Umuahia North Council.

The well attended meeting which took place at Nkwoegwu Civic Center have representatives from every facet of Ohuhu, with many YPP pro groups who have gathered to show solidarity with their party guber candidate.

Addressing the crowd, Engineer Enyinnaya Nwafor took time to intimate them on his proposed transformational government, aimed at repositioning the state on a progressive pathway.

He pledged to put his engineering profession to bear in infrastructural development of the state, with much emphasis on Umuahia, the capital city.

The YPP guber flag bearer vowed to reconstruct the long abandoned Okpara road in Ofeme Ohuhu soon as he assumes office, if elected.

He also promised to train and empower 50 Ohuhu persons in various vocation and trade.

Nana expressed joy at the warm reception and massive show of love and support accorded him by the Ohuhu people and pledged to reciprocate the kind gesture in due course.

He donated food, cash and gift items to participants of the Town Hall Meeting while urging them to remain steadfast in their support for the YPP in the state.

Co-host of the meeting and the House of Assembly hopeful for Umuahia North State Constituency, Nnaji Obed Asiegbu (Obedient Obed) thanked the people for honouring the invitation on mass despite the short notice.

Obedient Obed reeled out his developmental agenda, designed to drive the socioeconomic development of Ohuhu.

Obed Asiegbu who naturally enjoy massive support among the Ohuhu electorate vowed to hold the people's support sacred!

Speaking at the event, the Young Progressives Party State Chairman, Chimex Nelcinn Uluocha enjoined Ohuhu people to jettison sentiment in making their choice of gubernatorial candidate. He encouraged them to keep faith with YPP, as the party has come to change the narrative and install good governance in the state.

Engr Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor (Nana) was accompanied on the meeting by the Director General of NANA/OFUJI CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION, party chieftains and women leaders.

Highlights of the event was the official reception of defectors from other political parties. Notably, were:
Chief Iheanyi Igboanulam (Kpakpando), Chief J. U Nwachukwu (IkwunaIkwu), Dr Samson Orji and Hon Chinazaam Amadi (Former Afugiri Ward Councilor).
