Abia AA Guber Candidate 'Chijioke Okoro' Conferred With DIKE OHA 1 | WATCH VIDEO/PHOTOS

The event which was graced by who is who in Abia State, saw the gubernatorial candidate of AA in Abia State, Ambassador Chief Chijioke Okoro honoured by the revered traditional ruler and former chairman of Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers with title of DIKE OHA 1 of Eziama for his numerous positive contribution to the society.

Ambassador Chief Chijioke Okoro who graced the event with multitude of his supporters was excited and was appreciative to the traditional ruler for finding him befitting for the traditional title.

While speaking to the press after the conferment of the title, the AA guber candidate posited that he decided to Rescue Abia because since 1999 Abia State has not enjoyed any form of dividends of democracy.

He revealed that he is contesting so that Abia State can be rescued from those demons that his holding the state and refusing the state from moving forward.

"What I meant by rescue Abia is that since 1999 Abia State has been suffering, if there is anything like democracy in Nigeria, Abia state is not part of it. We have been fighting for Abia State to taste what good governance is all about and nobody has offered such.

I am contesting so that we will rescue Abia State from those demons' holding the state hostage, milking our treasury. That is why I am coming out to rescue Abia. I know it is not going to be easy, but I have all it takesÔÇØ, he concluded.
