ABIA: CAC Announces Date For Distribution Of Free Business Name Certificates | SEE DETAILS

Abia State chapter of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), has announced the flag-off date for the distribution of free business name registration certificates.

In a statement released by the State Focal Person, Chinenye Nwaogu, and released to AF-NEWS, the distribution will begin on Friday, May 8, 2021 at the Michael Okpara Auditorium Umuahia.

The statement read;

"The Abia State Survival Fund Project Delivery Office, will on Friday May 8th, 2021 Flag off the distribution of 7,500 FREE CAC BUSINESS NAME REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES to beneficiaries who applied for free CAC Business Name Registration Certificate under the Federal Government Survival Fund Programme.

"The event will hold at the Michael Okpara Auditorium, Umuahia by 10 am prompt.ÔÇØ

Recall that the Federal Government as part of its Covid-19 Pandemic Survival intervention, mandated the CAC to register 6,606 business names for Micro Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (MSMEs) in Nigeria free of charge.

The free business name registration started on October 19, 2020.
