Abia Deputy Gov. Ude Oko Chukwu Withdraws From PDP Guber Primary | READ DETAILS
The deputy governor of Abia state, Rt. Hon. Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, has withdrawn his candidacy from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary election.
This was contained in a letter addressed to the party state chairman, Rt. Hon. Alwell Asiforo Okere PhD and signed by the aspirant himself.

According to Oko Chukwu, his withdrawal is owed to alleged 'gross violation of PDP guidelines, non conduct of 3-man delegate congress/election, gross violation of extant provisions of the party's constitution, electoral Act 2022 and INEC guidelines.

Meanwhile, the primary is scheduled to hold today at Umuahia township stadium.
