ABIA: Gov. Ikpeazu Orders Immediate Halt On Illegal Constructions In Markets | READ DETAILS

The Executive governor of Abia state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has ordered an immediate halt on illegal constructions ongoing in some markets situated in Aba, the commercial city of the state.
A release signed by the Honorable Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Abia State, Barr. Eze Chikamnayo, identified the markets as Waterside Central Market and Livestock Market, all in Aba.
Governor Ikpeazu also directed the market committees to work with Abia State Public Utilities Management Agency (APUMA), and Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA), in ensuring the immediate demolition of such new structures as well as prevent erection of new ones.
