Abia Govt Closes Ngwa Road Market For Cleanup |SEE DATE

Abia State Government have ordered for the closure of Ngwa Road market from Monday 17th to Tuesday 18th August 2020 for the purpose of cleaning up.

In a press release made available to AFNEWS and signed by Abia State Commissioner for Trade and Investment Rt. Hon Cosmos Ndukwe, PhD, he revealed that the clean up is to ensure that trading is carried out in neat, healthy and conducive environment.
Accordingly the Market Management Committees of affected markets are enjoined to mobilize traders to work closely with Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA) to realise government's directive in this regard.

Traders and the general public are further reminded that Security Agencies have been put on red alert and would be on ground to apprehend any defaulter and subsequently prosecute same.
