ABIA: How PoS Robbers Were Caught, Killed In Aba | READ DETAILS
Three suspected robbers were on Sunday, July 3, set ablaze after robbing Point of Sales Operators (PoS) in Aba, the commercial city of Abia State.
The incident happened at Abayi along Aba Owerri road. The suspects who operate using motorcycle, were said to be in the business of robbing road side traders, commercial tricycle (Keke) operators including fuel stations at Afor-ule, Umuimo and Kamalu streets in the area.

According to eyewitnesses, the trio had successfully robbed a PoS operator and other shops in the area. On leaving, their victims raised alarm which alerted youths who gave them a chase.

A vehicle reportedly hit the suspects which gave the youths an opportunity to grab them, and set them ablaze.

"After robbing the PoS operator and some shops, the robbers fled when people raised alarm. Some youths gave them a hot pursuit but they were knocked off their motorcycle by a moving vehicle. The youths caught up with them and set them ablaze; one at the opposite UBA Bank, others are burned at Union Bank junction and Star Paper Mill. These boys have been robbing PoS operators and shops.Today, nemesis has caught up with them.ÔÇØ
