Adiele made this know in a press release signed by him and made available to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER, due to the rising insecurity occasioned by the mindless attacks, killings, kidnapping of travelers and motorists along that road.

He called on Abia and Imo state governments to strengthen the local vigilante services and mobilize them to deal ruthlessly with the criminals involved and lamented that the security agents who man the many checkpoints on that road have failed in their primary responsibility which is to protect lives and properties. He called on the police and military high command to fish out the bad eggs within them who are alleged to be collaborators of these kidnappers if any.

Mr Adiele further stated that our representatives, the government and security agencies must act now to avoid a state of affairs where the people are forced to take the laws into their hands as these will escalate the fragile and already tensed political firmament in the area.
