Abia Lawmaker Thanks Council Boss, Aro Youth For Being Vigilance

The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Onyekwere Mike Ukoha, has lauded the T.C Chairman Arochukwu L.G.A, Mazi Jideofor Kanu, and the Youths of Arochukwu, for their vigilance in protecting lives, properties and the well being of people of the LGA.

In a Press Statement, the Lawmaker, explained that he is happy the way the Council Boss and the youth, mobilized to repel an attack (on Thursday the 22nd of October, 2020), on the lives and properties of people of the LGA, which would have caused a great damage on the people.

He however called for calm on the side of the youths, saying that their anger, over Police brutality and intimidation, which resulted in the END SARS protest across the country, will be addressed.

The Minority Whip who described the youth as Leaders of tomorrow, explained that time has come, for Nigerian youths to take its rightful place.

He went further to call on the youths of Arochukwu LGA, to do everything within their powers, to stand against whatever that will bring lawlessness and invasion of the council by unknown people.

He sympathized with the youths, especially those who loss their lives in the course of the protest, assuring that government will ensure that justice is done in the matter.

Hon. Ukoha, prayed God to continue to protect the lives of the citizens, adding that the country will come out of the current situation stronger.
