Abia LGA Election [Umunneochi]: PDP Concludes Campaign, Massive Support for Ifeanyi Madu

Speaking at Nneato zone three during the grand finale of the PDP campaigns, the Transition Committee Chairman, Umunneochi local government area, Dr Eze Chikamnayo, who congratulated the PDP Chairmanship standard bearer, Chief Ifeanyi Madu, his Deputy, Comrade Jubilee Eze Chikamnayo, and all the Councillorship candidates for emerging victorious during the party primaries, as well as successful campaign rally in the entire wards of the council, adding that the PDP in their campaigns has given the people of the the local government their manifesto which is for the over all infrastructural and manpower development of various parts of the council, and stated optimism that with their vigorous campaigns in all nooks and crannies of the local government, comprehensive victory will be recorded for the PDP candidates.

Dr Eze Chikamnayo at the event assured that his administration has perfected plans with the security agencies in the council towards ensuring adequate protection of lives and properties of the people of the local government area, before, during, and after the local government polls, while he enjoined all political parties fielding candidates in the elections to go about it in a lawful manner and see the local government polls as a brother contest where only one candidate will emerge for each position at last.

In his remarks, the local government area Chairman of PDP, Deacon Richard Agbadogo, on behalf of critical stakeholders and Local Government Executive Committee of PDP, thanked all the party members who have given priority to the campaigns and other activities of the party from the time of the party primaries all through the campaign periods, adding that the party is poised for comprehensive victory for all their party candidates having worked hard for it, and noted that all efforts will be put to secure the victory of the party at the polls, while he appreciated major stakeholders and other party members for their confidence and continued support and encouragements towards the success of the party in Umunneochi, and promised to ensure that the party remains formidable in the area.

In his vote of thanks on behalf of other candidates, the Peoples Democratic Party Chairmanship Candidate, Chief Ifeanyi Madu, thanked the Transition Committee Chairman of Umunneochi, Dr Eze Chikamnayo, the Member, representing Umunneochi in the Abia House of Assembly, Barr Okey Igwe, the Commissioner for Homeland Security, Prince Dan Okoli, Leaders of PDP, and Traditional Rulers in Umunneochi local government area for rallying support to all the party candidates from begging to the end, which gave them greater impetus during their campaigns, adding that if they emerge victorious after the polls, all their supports will be rewarded with greater dividends of democracy in all parts of the council.

Chief Ifeanyi Madu used the event to specially thank Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, for all his father encouragements to all the party candidates which have been their strength, extolling him for all his signature projects in various parts of the state, assuring their sustained loyalty to his grassroot oriented administration.
