Abia LP Chair, Ceekay Igara Congratulates Gov. Alex Otti, Lauds Supreme Court For Meeting Expectations
The Chairman, Abia state Labour Party has described the Friday judgement of the supreme court on the matter between governor Alex Otti , PDP and APC, as a fulfillment of the expectations of Abians.

Speaking to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER (AFNEWS), immediately after the supreme court affirmed governor Otti winner of the March 18, 2023 election, Igara stated that Abians who have suffered bad leadership for decades lavishly gave Otti their mandate to govern them and bring development to the state .

According to the chairman, the governor will fast track the development of Abia and push further, the 'new Abia' vision as the legal battle has come to an end .

He called on the oppositions to put aside their personal interests, and join hands with governor Alex Otti to deliver dividends of democracy to Abians.

" finally, what we have been expecting has happened. We are aware that Abians gave us this mandate. The judiciary has agreed with Abians that His Excellency Dr Alex Otti is the duly elected governor of Abia State".

'This is the time for governance. We are ready to receive everyone who wants to join us in developing Abia state".

On the other hand, the chairman in his congratulatory message to governor Alex Otti on his victory, read;

It is with great joy that I received the final judgement by the Supreme Court of Nigeria, affirming the March 18, 2023 election victory of His Excellency, Dr Alex Otti, OFR as Executive Governor of Abia State.

The Supreme Court judgment today, is a confirmation of the mandate lavishly given to Dr Alex C.Otti OFR by Abians.

May I on behalf of State Working Committee, State Executive Council and all members of our great party, Labour Party, congratulate His Excellency, Dr Alex C. Otti OFR and the entire Abians for a secured and a better Abia as we have overcome all forms of distractions to focus on getting Abia better.
