Abia LP Chairman, Ceekay Igara Receives 17 LGA Party Women Leaders | READ DETAILS
The Abia State Labour Party Chairman, Mr. Ceekay Igara on Thursday, received in audience, the party's women leaders from all the 17 Local Government Areas of the state.

Speaking on behalf of the women at the party's state secretariat, the state women leader of the Labour Party, Mrs Nkechinyere Ibem, appreciated the Chairman, for welcoming them despite a short notice.

The women described Igara who doubles as the Chairman, Council of Labour Party Chairmen in the Federation, as a capable chairman who takes the interest of the women at heart.

They pledged to continue showing solidarity to the Party and the administration of the executive governor, Dr. Alex Otti.

The women also pointed out some of the challenges which they are faced with at their various Local Governments.

Responding, the state Chairman, Ceekay Igara appreciated the women for the support and assured that all the challenges mentioned would be addressed.

The Chairman assured the woman that the State Working Committee (SWC) of the party, will continue representing them at the state level while urging them to also represent the party very well at their various LGAs.

Igara restated that there are no problems in Labour party, adding that any report otherwise, is the handwork of mischief makers.
