Abia LP Guber Candidate, Alex Otti Receives Prof. Bath Nnaji, Geometric Power Plant CEO

During the visit, Professor Nnaji revealed that soon, the 9 local government areas of Old division and its environs, would enjoy uninterrupted power supply as work was in progress.

He disclosed that all the issues with Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) which hitherto interrupted the take off of the power plant, have been successfully resolved.

Nnaji also disclosed that they have made tremendous progress starting from their take over of the Aba Ring Fence from Enugu Disco which happened on the 16th of February, 2022, and this covers the 9 local government areas of Aba North and South; Obingwa, Ugwunagbo, Isialangwa North and South, Osisioma, Ukw East and West, all of which he said have their network being strengthened at the moment .

He added that they were trying to interconnect the sub stations they built before the issues that arose between Geometric and Enugu Disco, and stated that they planned to Meter all Meteral Customers because, according to him, meter is the fundamental agreement between the supply of power and the consumer of power.

It would be recalled that Dr. Otti as the then MD/CEO of Diamond Bank, was the brain behind the funding of the Geometric Power Project, and since then has sustained his burning desire aimed at ensuring that the peaceful resolution of the problem that halted the take off of Geometric's operations was resolved.
