A statement released by Ude Nwachukwu, Director, Media & Publicity Nana/Ofuji Campaign Organisation on Thursday, quoted Nwafor as saying that;
"Apart from our concerted efforts aimed at ensuring that more and more children go to school, the government we propose shall ensure even spread of schools that can cater for children with special needs.
This way, we tackle stereotypes associated with this category of citizens, while giving them brand new sense of belonging.
We are progressives. We know that stereotype is the worst form of discrimination. Little by little, education will cease to be a luxury for greater percentage of people with special needs".
