ABIA NORTH 2019: OHUABUNWA REJECTS RESULT, PETITIONS INEC NOT TO RETURN ORJI KALU

The candidate of the PDP in the senatorial election in Abia North and incumbent senator of the district at the red chambers, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, has written a petition to the Resident Electoral Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Abia State, demanding that there should not be a return of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu who ha s been declared the winner of the election.
Senator Ohuabunwa who wrote through his legal council, S.U Uko stated that the total number of rejected votes which stood at 38526 remains smaller than the margin which gave Dr Kalu the edge over him.
Senator Ohuabunwa who also called for a press conference, called for calmness, as their victory cannot be upturned by the forces of evil.
