The Abia Online Media Community has unveiled one of its newest Patrons - Hon. Peter Chigozie Azubuike, fondly known across Abia State as "The Rock.ÔÇØ The announcement has been received with excitement among media stakeholders, political observers, and youth groups who describe it as another well-deserved endorsement.

Hon. Azubuike, a native of Umuogele in Mbano Ntighauzo Autonomous Community of Obingwa LGA, has built a reputation rooted in resilience, philanthropy, business excellence, and unwavering commitment to human development. His influence spans the oil and gas industry, education, culture, security support, community empowerment, and politics.

A graduate of Biochemistry (B.Sc) and CEO of Petbridge Nigeria Ltd, The Rock brings to the table over 10 years of experience in Nigeria's oil and gas sector. But beyond his corporate achievements, he has become a respected figure for his generosity and grassroots-focused initiatives.

Over the years, he has facilitated training for more than 20 young Nigerians in the oil and gas sector both within and outside the country. His humanitarian foundation has empowered numerous widows and youths with practical skills in small and medium enterprises.

His footprint in culture and sports development is equally significant. The Rock sponsored the first-ever Agalaba Cultural Carnival and the third edition of the Agalaba People's Forum Football Tournament, both groundbreaking events that rekindled unity, showcased local talent, and elevated community pride.

In education, his impact is profound - with well over 50 students trained across primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions through his scholarship support.

Security agencies also attest to his contributions. As a Patron of the Abia State Community Policing/Vigilante Group (ASCP), he donated cars and motorcycles to strengthen security operations in local communities.

Though he previously contested for public office under the APC, he currently stands as a strong chieftain of the Labour Party (LP) in Abia State. He serves as the Chairman of Labour Party Stakeholders in Obingwa LGA and Chairman of Abia-Arise Stakeholders in Obingwa.
