AHIWE VS OTTI: Abia PDP Reacts To Tribunal's Judgement, Reveals Next Line Of Action | READ MORE

The People's Democratic Party, PDP, has reacted to the Abia state governorship election petition tribunal's judgement dismissing the petition it filed before it seeking the disqualification of governor Alex Otti of the Labour Party.

ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER, AFNEWS had reported that the three member panel led by justice J.T.D Gwadah, dismissed all the petitions of the PDP and her governorship candidate, Chief Okey Ahiwe for lacking merit.

Speaking to AFNEWS immediately after the judgement, the representative of the PDP/Ahiwe's legal team, Barrister Chukwuemeka Nwogu Esq, noted that the tribunal has discharged its duties in line with the law and the constitution, however, they will wait until they get the judgment, study it, consult with the PDP/Ahiwe (clients), before determining their next line of action.

He hinted however, that they will appeal the Friday, October 6, 2023 tribunal's judgement given in favour of governor Alex Otti and the Labour Party.

" most likely, we will be taking constitutional steps. When we get the judgment, we take a decision" Nwogu stated.
