ABIA PENSION BILL REPEAL: Gov. Otti Is Continuously Changing The Narrative - Chief Charles Nwangwa

Abia State Industrialist and politician Chief Charles Nwangwa, has eulogized Governor Alex Chioma Otti OFR for immediately signing the repealed law which had empowered former Governors and Deputy Governors of the State to enjoy pension and equally posited that the Governor is continuously changing the narrative of the state positively.

Chief Nwangwa who stated this in a press release made available to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER, also appreciated the Governor for his recent appointments and for the caliber and capacity of people he appointed.

"Governor Alex Chioma Otti must be appreciated for immediately signing in that repealed pension law for Governors and Deputy Governors. This singular act has positioned the governor as someone who is basically concerned about the good and welfare of the State and not for certain people who want to continue feeding fat on our common patrimony"

"I am so happy that in my life time I can see Abians proud to say they are from Abia State. Abia State is now on the lips of Nigerians for the good reasons and not those derogatory statements and words they use for us before. Even yesterday, the former President of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo called on other governors to emulate Governor Otti"

Chief Nwangwa also clapped for the appointment of Mrs. Victoria Onwubiko as MD/CEO, ABSSAA and Stanley Egege as Chairman Governing Council Abia State Polytechnic. He described these appointments as merited and also said that these people have the capacity, integrity and skill to discharge these duties effectively.

He also congratulated Dr Mrs Ngozi Azodoh for accepting to serve her homeland Abia after retiring meritoriously from the Federal Civil service as an award-winning health professional.

"It's amazing that within nine months Abia is regaining twenty-four years of lost glory", he concluded.
