ABIA POLY ALUMNI EMBARKS ON N200M FUND RAISING FOR ULTRAMODERN LECTURE HALLS

Alumnis of Abia State Polytechnic Aba says it has put modalities in place ahead of Saturday the 14th of December 2019 for her N200 million naira fund raising for the building of an Ultra modern Lecture Halls and office Complex in the Campus 11 of the Institution at Osisioma.

Speaking in Umuahia, the Alumni National President of the Association Comrade Festus Amaogu explained that there is the need to for Alumni of the citadel of learning to give back to the institution that made them what they are, saying that the fund raising will help to not only cater for the thing needed, but will enable them to set up a Trust fund for the purpose of helping the less priviledged ones in the society.

He further hinted that venue for the event will be at Binez Hotels (Michael Okpara Hall) Umungasi, Aba while according to him time is noon.

Also lending his voice, Comrade Bartholomew Nzeako the Alumni National Secretary said that during the occasion, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu will be the Special Guest of Honour, Father of the Day will be Prof. F. E. Eboh the Rector Abia State Polytechnic Aba and Royal Fathers of the Day include His Imperial Majesty Eze Isaac Ikonne and HRM Eze L. A. Wogu.
