Abia Speaker Joins Other Eminent Nigerians To Bid Lady Adanma Okpara Final Goodbye

The funeral service held at Williams Memorial Grammar School, Afugiri, Umuahia North Local Government Area and it was conducted by the Methodist Church, Nigeria.

The Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence, Dr S.C.K. Uche (JP) delivered the sermon.

Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt Hon Ude Oko Chukwu, Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Chief Theodore Ahamefule Orji and his wife, Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, Senator representing Abia South , Chief Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe, former Senate President, Senator Adolphus Wabara, former Governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, former Governor of Enugu State, Dr Okwesilieze Nwodo, Member representing Umuahia North State Constituency, Hon Kelechi Onuzuruike, Traditional Rulers, Captains of Industry, Clergymen and top government functionaries attended the funeral service.

Recall that the Speaker had on 25th September, 2021 paid a condolence visit to the Okparas in their country home in Umuahia.
