Abia YPP Guber Candidate, Engr Nwafor Cuts Campaign Short To Save Accident Victim | SEE PHOTOS

The governorship candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) in Abia State, Engineer Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor, has been applauded for abruptly cutting short his campaign at Umunneochi Local government area to visit an accident victim in Aba.

According to a Facebook user; Dr. Chidinma Ubani, a coordinator for the NANAOFUJI youth movement (name yet to be known) was involved in an accident and was rushed to Freedom World hospital, Aba on Wednesday.

Ubani said the YPP governorship candidate and his running mate, Dr. Chima Anyaso alongside some members of NanaOfuji campaign team stormed the hospital in less than one hour after Nwafor was informed of the accident.

Nwafor on arrival, footed the hospital bills of the accident victim and other patients in the same ward with him.

Chidinma Ubani wrote;

ENERGETIC, YOUTHFUL AND PASSIONATE ENGR ENYINNAYA NWAFOR CAME THROUGH

At about 2pm yesterday, I got a call that one of the restoration apostles of NANAOFUJI youth movement was involved in a fatal accident somewhere in Aba, the caller just told me that the accident victim told her to call Dr Ubani, and tell him that they were heading to the hospital, the caller didn't even know the name of the victim.I asked her the address of the hospital and I immediately rushed down to hospital with our State coordinator Hon Edward Okocha, on getting there, we made some commitments and the hospital commenced treatment immediately.

Few hrs after we have settled down, I called Engr Nwafor Enyinnaya to notify him of the incident, Engr Nana who was at Umunneochi with His deputy Dr Chima Anyaso for their ward tours assured me that they are coming down immediately, less than 1hr, the full campaign team of The NANAOFUJI MOVEMENT stormed the hospital, FREEDOM WORLD HOSPITAL ABA.

Nana in his usual philanthropic nature opted to also take care of the hospital bills of all the other patients in the same ward with the accident victim who happened to be a coordinator for the NANAOFUJI youth movement.

The hospital atmosphere was very emotional, filled with passionate tears on how a governorship candidate will immediately stop his campaign just to visit a member of his youth movement whom He doesn't even know personally nor share any relationship with.

Like we have assured Abians, NANAOFUJI government is going to be a responsive government.
