Abians In Spain Drums Support For Alex Otti As They Host His SA On Trade/Commerce/Industry
The Abiriba Communal Improvement Union (ACIU) in Valencia, Spain and other Abians in Diaspora has expressed confidence in the government of the governor of Abia state, Dr Alex Otti.

ACIU drummed their support for Otti while hosting the Special Adviser to the governor on Trade, Commerce and Industry, Chief Nwaka Inem, (Enyioha 1 of Abiriba) on saturday, July 29, 2023.

They expressed happiness over the outcome of the March 11, 2023 governorship election in Abia state which produced Alex Otti as governor, noting that for the past 24 years, Abia state have been stigmatised with bad leadership syndrome which made Abians living outside the state to deny their identity.

Abians in Spain and the ACIU also congratulated Nwaka on his appointment and charged him to help the administration of Dr Alex Otti to deliver on the mandate given to him by Abians.

"We are happy having you in our midst today; we celebrate you on your appointment as special adviser to the governor on Trade, Commerce and Industry. We pray that God will give you the wisdom to discharge your duties.

"We are convinced that you the capacity to do the right things, we plead with you to help the administration of governor Alex Otti to govern Abia well".

They added;
"We are happy on how the governorship election went in Abia, Hope replaced years of hopelessness in Abia.

"We are happy for the good thing that has happened in Abia state; we will support the administration of governor Alex Otti, but we will call him to order whenever he deviates from the right path".
They urged the governor to utilise his years of experience in the banking sector to deliver on the mandate of the people.

"There is nothing else Abians need other than security, good roads, infrastructures, revamping Aba to meet up to the standard of a commercial city" they stated.

They also called on the government to adopt rapid measures to curb kidnapping along Uturu-Okigwe road.
Responding, Nwaka thanked Abians in diaspora and ACIU for their warmth reception, assuring that he will discharge his duties to positively impact on the lives of the entire Abians.

He also assured that governor Alex Otti will perform very well.

"The dynamics of governor Alex Otti are not sharing as it were before rather dynamics of making sure that the right things are done" Nwaka stated.
