Abiriba Kingdom Honours Sir. Ude Oko Chukwu With Ikiriki Oku Title

Abia State Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has extolled the Enachoke of Abiriba Kingdom, Eze Kalu Kalu Ogbu for protecting and sustaining the revered cultural heritage of his people and Igbo land at large.

Sir Oko Chukwu who made the commendation after the conferment of of the chieftaincy title of "Ikiriki oku" of Abiriba Kingdom as part of activities marking his twenty one years reign on the throne held at his Agbaezi Palace stressed the need for Ndi Igbo to cherish and be proud of their customs and help bequeath it to future generations.

The Deputy Governor thanked the Enachoken and entire Abiriba people finding him worthy of the honour as well as their overwhelming support they have been giving him since his legislative sourjoun at the State House of Assembly till his present position and promised not to disappoint them for reposing so much confidence in him.

Also speaking after he bagged the chieftaincy title of Eturu Mang of Abiriba Kingdom, the member representing Abia South Senatorial District, Chief Enyinnaya Abaribe who described the title as very significant expressed delight that he is being remembered in recognition of their contributions as Politicians and legislators and urged fellow leaders to continue to do their best as they will also be recognized in due time.

In his remarks, the Speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Chief Chinedum Orji thanked the Abiriba Community for finding Sir Ude Oko Chukwu worthy of the honour and enjoined the Deputy Governor to see sustain the good work he is doing for his people and the State at large.

Speaking also after being confered with the chieftaincy title of Nwandugbom of Abiriba Kingdom, the Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Chief John Okiyi appreciated his Paramount leader, the Enachoken of Abiriba Kingdom, Eze Kalu Kalu Ogbu for the rare privilege accorded him and assured that they will continue to more in delivering the much needed democracy dividends and change the developmental narratives of Abiriba Kingdom and beyond.
