The Abia State Government has intensified efforts to ensure that all indigenes and residents obtain their Abia State Social Identification Number (ABSSIN), emphasizing its importance in accessing government services and social welfare programs.

The Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Kingsley Anosike, reiterated that ABSSIN is a unique identity system designed to provide every resident with a verifiable identification number, which will facilitate the efficient allocation of state resources.
