Tragedy has befallen Niger state again as gunmen attacked some Communities in Gurmana ward of Shiroro Local Government Area of the state.

This happened in a time when the state is still battling with the kidnap of some Kagara secondary school students.

Report says Sarkin Zama, Bakin Kogi (Lagbe), Siyiko, and other adjoining villages were on Wednesday evening invaded by gunmen, who stormed the villages in their large numbers.
The operation which lasted for hours was said to have recorded some casualty.

According to a concerned Shiroro Youth, Sani Kokki, some persons died while others who sustained various degrees of gunshot injuries were rushed to various health facilities for medical attention.

Kokki said scores of others were also abducted and taken to unknown destinations.

Some armed men yesterday, invaded Government Science Secondary School Kagara , Niger state where dozens of students including teachers were abducted leaving one student dead.
