AGAIN: Hoodlums Set Police Station Ablaze In Abia | PHOTOS

Yet to be identified hoodlums on Wednesday, May 12, burnt down Bende police station in Bende Local Government Area of Abia state.

This incident happened shortly after the Executive Governor of Abia state, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, left the Bende LGA headquarters after a civic reception of a three-time House of Representatives member who represented Bende Federal Constituency, Hon. Nnenna Ukeje.

The police station is situated at the outer gate of the LGA headquarters, less than 10 metres from the LGA field where the reception held.

Residents said they heard gunshots, rushing outside, they met the police station on fire.

In less than two weeks, hoodlums have burnt a police station along Ubani International Market, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office, and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) office in the state
