UKOHA: Again, Lawmaker Distributes Cash Awards To Less Privileged/Petty Traders In Arochukwu | SEE PHOTOS

It was a moment of joy and fanfare in Arochukwu as Aro women, the less privileged, elderly and petty traders received cash out from Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha as usual.

Speaking at Aggrey Primary School field, Ibom, Arochukwu, Hon. Ukoha, stated that this is what he likes to do and have been doing it quarterly to the less privileged, elderly and petty business owners.

The Lawmaker hinted that the event saw about 97 petty traders and less privileged from Arochukwu, receiving substantial amount to support their businesses.

He went further to state that through the assistance of 19 village Ezenwanyis, five (5) women were selected each from the villages to benefit from the cash out program.

The Minority Whip used the medium to call on them to support him to return to the House, stressing that his return will help Arochukwu LGA greatly.

Hon. Ukoha, who decided not to reel out some of his numerous achievements, however informed them that on Thursday, December 22, 2022, there will be a public hearing at Abia House of Assembly, geared at bringing University of Education and Technology to Arochukwu which he is currently pursuing.

In his speech, a stakeholder in Arochukwu LGA, Hon. John Ikechukwu Okoro, lauded the Lawmaker for always thinking about the welfare of his constituents.

He thanked Hon. Ukoha, for his monthly financial support to the less privileged and elderly and urged him not to relent.

Also speaking Arianzu Arochukwu Kingdom, Mazi Augustine Kanu Okoro, call on all Aro women to support Hon. Ukoha, to return to the House due to his good works.

He prayed God to always bless him and assured him that the Kingdom is behind him.

Speaking while expressing her thanks on behalf of the women the President General Nzuko Arochukwu Women's Wing Home Branch, Mrs. Blessing Okoro, thanked him for supporting the course of Arochukwu women and for his numerous achievements to Aro.

Mrs. Okoro, promised that she will mobilise all the women to support Hon. Ukoha come March 11th, 2023, adding that their support to him remain unwavering.
