The political crisis in the Senate has taken a dramatic turn as High Chief Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan, the Alema of Warri Kingdom, has publicly addressed the ongoing dispute between his wife, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

In a statement released on February 28, 2025, Uduaghan expressed deep concerns over the treatment his wife has received from the Senate President, revealing that he had personally intervened to resolve the matter amicably, but harassment against his wife has persisted.

This revelation adds a new layer of controversy to the already heated political battle in the Senate, raising serious questions about power dynamics, respect for women in politics, and the true nature of Akpabio's leadership.

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, a strong and vocal lawmaker, has reportedly faced repeated harassment from Senate President Godswill Akpabio-a situation that has now drawn public scrutiny.

According to Chief Uduaghan, he initially chose to remain silent on the matter, but the worsening situation forced him to speak out. He insisted that his wife, who was duly elected by her people, has always been a woman of integrity, committed to serving her district and the nation.

In a surprising disclosure, Chief Uduaghan revealed that he had personally met with Akpabio to address the matter, urging the Senate President to treat Natasha with respect and dignity.
