Al Hilal To Lure Messi To Saudi Arabia With $350m Deal

The rival between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi seems to assume another shape as a Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal are ready to offer the World Cup winner a mouthwatering deal of about $350 million a year according to reports.

Portugal star Ronaldo had joined Al Hilal's rival Al Nassr on a two-year contract in a deal worth Ôé¼200m per year with commercial benefits included.

The 37-year-old Portugal captain was a free agent after leaving Manchester United following a controversial interview in which he criticized the club.

In what appears as an overboard contract, the Al Hilal is eager to splash more on the Argentine whose contract will expire with Paris Saint Germain in the summer after which, he will become a free agent.

According to ForbesSport, contrary to widespread claims, Messi has not agreed to renew terms at the Parc des Princes according to L'Equipe, which gives hope to parties such as Inter Miami and former club FC Barcelona.
