The Umuahia South State constituency candidate of the Labour Party, Emeka Jacob Obioma on Monday stated that Dr. Alex Otti, the party's guber candidate in Abia state has proven beyond doubt to have the capacity to govern the state.

Obioma who featured on AF-TELEVISION Programme 'Focal Point', expressed optimism that under the leadership of Dr. Alex Otti as governor of the state, the Abia state House of Assembly will function very well including its oversight function 'because you have a governor who is ready to make Abia to rise again".

According to Jcaob, Otti haven led some banks and managed them well, he would do better as the governor of Abia state.

"Dr Alex Otti has proven it beyond reasonable doubt that he has capacity to manage an organization.

"when you interact with him, you will understand that what is important for Dr, Alex Otti is that Abia should be able to move beyond where we are".

According to him, nothing has changed in Abia state unlike other neighboring states; "if you leave Abia, Umuahia particularly and come back in the next 5 years, you will not find your way; the place would have probably gotten worse than you used to know it"
Speaking on Peter Obi the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Jacob stated that "by 2023, the Labour Party will form the leadership of this country. Peter Obi will become the next president of Nigeria because the youths of this country have woken up".
He maintained that a large percentage of registered voters are interested in Peter Obi's candidature, adding that Obi has structures all over the states.
