Any Change You Want In Abia State Will Start From You - Oko Chukwu Tells PDP Delegates

The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon Ude Oko Chukwu has said that he has garnered the requisite experience to govern the affairs of the state come 2023.

Ude Oko Chukwu who stated this yesterday while consulting with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders and delegates in Osisioma said that having actively served in various capacity and still serving for nineteen years in the state, he has acquired vast knowledge of governance and would use it to the betterment of the state if voted to represent the ruling party in the primary election, and subsequently in the 2023 general election.

He appealed on the conscience of the delegates to do what is right for the party in voting those that have shown capacity and have track record of integrity in governance and not because they were induced and compelled to do so.

The deputy governor who emphasized on the importance of the party primaries told the delegates that the any change that they desire in the state would start with them as they are the ones that determines who the general public would elect.

"there is no president, governor or senator that does not emanate from a party, as the party would be the first to elect the person and present him to the general public"

He pleaded on the delegates to vote him as he is a party man and would not forget them when he becomes the governor of the state.

Responding, the Peoples Democratic Party of Osisioma, Hon. Ihezuo Ofomba thanked the deputy governor for the visit and assured him that they will do their best to make sure he come out tops in the primary but asserted that power belongs to God.

The Deputy Governor who also visited party delegates in Isialangwa North and Isialangwa South on a consultation tour yesterday, met with their Peoples Democratic Party delegates and stakeholders where he solicited for their votes and assured them that any vote cast for him is a vote cast for integrity and accountability.

He assured them that he will not forget them as he will make sure he brings the dividends of democracy to their doorsteps.

Respectively, the stakeholders thanked him for the visit and assured him of their support.
