APC Abia Central Primary Election Result Cancelled | READ FULL DETAILS
The All Progressives Congress (APC), have annulled the Abia Central Senatorial District Primary Election held ahead of the 2023 general election.
Honorable Sam Onuigbo, the current member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency, had over the weekend, emerged winner of the primary election having polled a total vote of 157, Chief Henry Ikoh polled 152 to come second while 9 votes were voided.

The Chairman, electoral committee, Honorable Izuchukwu Okeke declared the election cancelled at the party secretariat located at #40 Uyo street, Umuahia, Abia state following allegations of over voting raised by the party agent to Ikoh.

According to Okeke, the total number of delegates on the list was 310, but the total vote count including void votes rose to 318.
