APC STORM ABIA; PROMISE TO TAKEOVER POWER

In an event well attended by chieftains of the party in the south-east, the national delegation led by the hyper effusive chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, emphatically endorsed Dr Uche Sampson Ogah as its flagbearer.

Speaking at the event, the national chairman of the party took time to explain the impact of President Muhammadu Buhari led administration in critical sectors such as the economy, security and the fight against corruption. He also called on Abians to connect to the national grid.

Similarly, Comrade Oshiomhole lampooned the poor performance of the PDP government in Abia state, calling it a colossal failure. He, therefore, urged the people of Abia to vote for the APC in the forthcoming general elections.

On the issue of who the authentic flagbearer in the state is, the party chairman dispelled insinuations from several quarters projecting the Umuahia-born politician Chief Ikechi Emenike as the authentic candidate of the party. He, therefore, went ahead to hand over to Dr Samson Uche Ogah the party's flag as the standard bearer for the party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election and other candidates of the party in the state in the forthcoming election including senatorial aspirants like the former governor of Abia state, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu.

Speaking also, the candidates took their time to extol the president for his commitment to the people of Abia state. Speaking, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu thanked the party's national chairman and assured him of 80% votes for the APC in the elections
