In a deeply moving ceremony, Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, the Abia State Liaison Officer to the National Assembly, joined Governor Alex Otti, senior government officials, members of the Nigerian Legion, and other distinguished citizens to commemorate Armed Forces Remembrance Day at the Aguiyi Ironsi Cenotaph in Umuahia.

The annual event, which highlights the sacrifices of Nigeria's military heroes, was marked by tributes, prayers, and symbolic laying of wreaths to honor the men and women who laid down their lives for the nation's unity, peace, and security.

Speaking at the event, Chief Chinasa reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to supporting veterans and the families of fallen heroes. "The Armed Forces Remembrance Day is a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by our military heroes. It compels us to uphold their legacy by striving for a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria,ÔÇØ he said.
