Atiku Appoints Ologbondiyan As Campaign Spokesperson

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has announced the appointment of former National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kolawole Stephen Ologbondiyan, as one of its spokesperson for the 2023 presidential campaign.

This was disclosed in a statement by Atiku's Media Adviser, Mr Paul Ibe, with the appointment taking effect immediately.

Ologbondiyan who was a former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP (Dec. 2017-Dec. 2021) and now a member of National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party, joins Charles Aniagwu, Daniel Bwala and Dino Melaye earlier appointed by the presidential candidate to endear Nigerians to Atiku and intimate electorate about the campaign progress of their candidate.

He was Special Adviser (Media and Publicity) to former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark (2007-2015).

The statement partly reads "Ologbondiyan is a highly experienced journalist endowed with requisite skills of communication.

"He rose through the ranks from being Proof Reader and Production Editor to becoming Assistant Politics Editor, Politics Editor, Group Politics Editor, Deputy Editor (Daily) and Digital Editor (Online) of the THISDAY Newspapers.
