Attack On Anambra INEC Office: Uncollected PVCs Safe, Election Materials Burnt | READ DETAILS

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has given account of the damages recorded in the attack of its headquarters in Anambra state by hoodlums.

ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER had reported that hoodlums in the early hours of Wednesday, set the INEC office Idemili South Local Government Area Office in the State on fire. READ HERE

A statement released by Festus Okoye, National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee, said the commission lost; 729 ballot boxes, 243 voting cubicles, and 256 election bags.
However, uncollected Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) were not affected by the inferno.
INEC assures that the February 25 and March 11, 2023 General Election, will hold as scheduled.
