Bandit Terrorists Demand N60m Ransom For Niger Perm-Sec

Gunmen suspected to bandit terrorists who abducted the Permanent Secretary in Niger Ministry of Transportation, Ibrahim Garba Musa and his grandchild have demanded 60 million Naira ransom from his family.

All Facts News had earlier reported that Garba was in Zugeru for a wedding celebration before he was abducted in his house on Friday night.

A source in the family had disclosed that the terrorists gained access to the government official house after breaking down the gate to abduct Musa who was relaxing after the wedding celebration.

A family source that spoke with Daily Trust on the incident disclosed that the kidnappers demanded ransom on Sunday evening for his release and his grandchild.

The source said, "On Sunday evening, they called demanding N60m ransom. But after a serious bargain, they pegged it down to N30m. So, they are still maintaining that N30m. But Family doesn't have that money. We would continue to bargain when next they called.ÔÇØ

The family called on the Niger State government to assist in rescuing the perm sec and his three-year-old son unhurt.
