Former Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr, has brushed off reports of him vying for the vacant Black Stars of Ghana coaching job.

The 68-year-old was linked to the job as one of the candidates contacted by the West African country to handle the national team's rein of affairs ahead of Qatar 2022 World Cup Qualifier against Nigeria slated to hold in March. This comes after the sack of former coach Milovan Rajevac.

The German, however, has dismissed claims of being contacted for the vacant position, revealing it will be difficult to coach another team against his former team.

Recall that Rohr was sacked as Eagles coach barely few weeks before the commencement of the delayed AFCON fiesta in Cameroon.
