Biggest social media platforms in the world have gone down. WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are currently experiencing a major outage around the world since 4:39 pm on Monday.

The three apps - which are all owned by Mark Zuckerberg.

Visitors to the WhatsApp web are experiencing 5xx Server Error while others app run by the company were all down together.

On their verified WhatsApp's twitter account, the company said it is aware of the issue, saying the tech company is working to get things back up and running.
